What is Ansh Labs?
Ansh Labs is an emerging biotech company. We are a team of scientists and professionals with decades of experience designing, developing, and manufacturing immunoassays. In our past lives, our entrepreneurial leaders founded immunodiagnostics companies and developed portfolios of intellectual property. Along the way, we developed some of the trickiest hormone assays available in the clinical laboratory today. We have been fortunate to work with some of the most talented and well-respected scientists in biotech and medical research. Ansh is the culmination of all of this knowledge, experience, and relationships over the past 35+ years.
How did you get started at Ansh Labs?
Ansh Labs was formed because we saw opportunities to improve upon the quality and reliability of commercially available assays, to develop assays that would enhance clinical diagnostics, and to support therapeutic discovery. All of us at Ansh Labs have a passion for medical science and working with physicians and researchers. We have worked together for years, either at the same company or in collaborative research. Each of us had our individual strengths in antibody development, immunoassay design and development, and manufacturing scale-up. After working with a team this good for so long, we learned a thing or two about each other and what drives us. So, we assembled a team of experienced scientists, an aggressive and client-focused staff, and trusted scientific advisors to do something remarkable and make a difference in biomedical science.
What are you guys up to now?
We operate a modern research facility in Webster, TX. We offer custom immunoassay reagent and kit development and contract manufacturing services. Additionally, we have developed immunoassays for researchers of pregnancy complications, fertility dysfunction, neurological disorders, and novel prognostic indicators of cardiovascular disease and impending heart attacks. We are in constant discovery mode exploring new ways to build a better immunoassay or further therapeutic discovery. To this end, we have a developing intellectual property portfolio with IP associated with the treatment of atherosclerosis and the medical diagnosis of various pregnancy and reproductive complications.
What is it that excites you about research and discovery?
The pursuit of knowledge and the challenge of diagnosing disease or treating a disorder is exciting to us. We are passionate about science and discovery. We envision a future that offers a higher standard of medical care, lower healthcare costs, and an overall better quality of life and health for all.
What are your current products?
We have several products incubating, but we are not ready to discuss specific products at this time. Currently, a significant amount of our time involves custom immunoassay development for clients with a specific clinical research need.
